Greetings Readers,
My name is Johnathan D. Edmonds and I am a new writer here at America’s Tribune. I’ll likely be writing about politics, faith, perhaps a little finance and definitely sports. But first let me tell you a little about who I am.
I just turned 39 about a week ago on March 30th. I am confined to a motorized wheelchair due to a disease called Arthrogryposis Multiplex Congenita. Don’t worry if you couldn’t pronounce it, it takes practice. It’s pronounced Are-Throw-Gry-Posis, Multi-Plex, Con-Gen-ita. What is it? Good question, its rare muscle disease the effects the muscles in the joints during development inside the womb. The disease usually only occurs once in a family tree, which means the chances of my kids or grandkids having it are practically non-existent especially since it’s a rare disease in the first place.
It’s very difficult to find employment. Most employers take one look at the chair and try to get out of the interview as fast as possible, while simultaneously trying not to say anything that might offend me and not committing to giving me the job. It sucks, but that’s the way it is. So on that note, lets talk about my work and what I do with my time.

At the beginning of this year, at the urging from a few people I trust, I separated all the “entertainment” episodes and put future episodes about Movies, TV, Wrestling, Sports, Olympics...etc under a different banner.
I also trade Stocks, which I’ve been doing for almost 3 years now. But I still consider myself a novice at best. So, while there is potential, I may write a story or 2 about the stock market it won’t be a regular thing yet. But here’s a link to an episode where my guest talks about the very basics if you’re interested in investing and controlling your own money.
But before I did all of the above, I started an art business where I color “Fuzzy/Velvet” posters and then sell them as completed works of art. I’ve been doing that for about 10 years, and while it hasn’t made me rich, I have sold more than 40 pieces to people all over the U.S.
I’m a Conservative Christian American, and I believe in the Constitution. When I write these stories I will make NO EFFORT to hide my opinion, but I will make EVERY EFFORT to provide you with the arguments of both sides.
So that’s just a little bit out of the book of John. I look forward to writing here on America’s Tribune and my hope is to help make this is something much bigger. Look for my first article regarding the NFL and the draft sometime next week.
